Additional Accommodation Possibilities

We have been informed that the Metropol Lake Resort is fully booked for the period that covers RAD 2018 Conference. Further booking is possible only after some potential cancelations, and the waiting list is going to be created. If you would like to be on the waiting list, please send an e-mail to accommodation@rad-conference.org

Locations north of the Metropol Lake Resort are closer to the city center, whereas locations south of the Metropol Lake Resort are in Lagadin, the most beautiful part of the Ohrid Riviera.

All participants accommodated outside of the Metropol Lake Resort may have buffet style lunch and/or dinner at the Metropol Hotel (the Conference Venue) by the price of 10 EUR per meal.

The Conference will take place at the Metropol Lake Resort. It’s a beautiful setting featuring 3 hotels, 800 meters of beach frontage, landscaped gardens and pine woods, and fantastic views overlooking the lake and the surrounding National Park Galičica.

A lot of guest rooms and suites, spreading across three interlinked buildings, are the largest guest room facilities in Ohrid and in the region. Designed by acclaimed designers, all interiors have a warm, inviting ambiance.

The Metropol Lake Resort is located about 8 km from the city center of Ohrid. During the conference working days, we will provide a limited number of shuttle-car drives (free of charge for registered participants and registered accompanying persons) to and/or from the city center. More detailed information will be available at the Conference desk.

Accommodation in the rooms of the Metropol Lake Resort is offered to the participants of RAD 2018 conference by special prices:

Prices are per person and per a day and include the local tax and insurance.

A child under 6 who does not use its own bed does not pay. A child from 6 to 10 years of age accommodated in the third bed in the room has a discount of 50%. A child from 10 years of age or adults accommodated in the third bed in the room has a discount of 30%.

At the beginning of the reservation process, participants will be able to choose between hotels Metropol and Bellevue until the allotment of rooms in one hotel is not filled. After that, the reservation can be done only for the remaining hotel. The rooms in two hotels are equipped equally, the served food is of the equal quality and variety and guests from both hotels may use all amenities of the Resort. The Conference rooms are located at the -1 level of Metropol Hotel. The walking distance from Bellevue Hotel to Metropol Hotel is 2 minutes.

Our advice is to book the full board or half board (depending on your eating habits) since the restaurants and shops are not so numerous in the neighbourhood of the Resort. The meals are served as follows:

Breakfast 07:00-10:00

Lunch 12:00-14:30

Dinner 19:00-22:00

If you are attending the Conference alone and you would like to have the benefit of being accommodated in a double (or triple) room, we will offer you a portal for roommate searching. In this case, please contact us on e-mail address accommodation@rad-conference.org.

Accommodation booking for Metropol Lake Resort should be done by filling the reservation form and sending it to the e-mail address sales@metropol-ohrid.com.mk. Please note that the reservation is valid only with written confirmation from the hotel sales department.

NB: Please note that only a limited number of rooms of the Metropol Lake Resort is available for participants of RAD 2018 Conference. Even though the deadline for hotel booking is May 25, 2018 it may happen that all available rooms are booked much earlier. Our advice is to book your accommodation as soon as possible, immediately after you know your dates of arrival and departure. In the case you have booked your room and you are, for any reason, unable to come or your arrival/departure dates have changed, please contact the sales department and cancel (or change) your booking.

The payment should be done either directly at the hotel reception (by card or cash) or, in advance, by wire transfer or card.
